March 18, 2023 - Bob Emerson gave a presentation on Native American artifacts which he has been collecting. Emerson is a retired Social Studies teacher who taught almost 30 years at the former Plainview High School. Collecting Native American artifacts has been a passion he has followed his entire life. In addition to local finds, he has found some in other states. He also worked with a archaeologist in New Mexico, Iowa, and Illinois. In addition to his teaching, Bob was also involved with sports, namely basketball and baseball.
